Bill has been a member for 4 years and has been instrumental as a leader of our sponsors and a friend to all Hams!!  AKA "Bori", Bill had completed Ironman Louisville and 70.3 World Championships in his career as a Triathlete.  With so many mantras, Billy is like the Godfather of SFT.  There is never a time you cannot call him that he will not speak to you.  Well known for "Making it happen!!" Bill helps maintain the steady course of this club with his passion for people and the sport of triathlon.

OK so it was incerdibly difficult to find a picture of Luis without there being someone else in it with him!!!  That's because for those that know Luis, they know that he is always surrounded by members and looking to meet non-members of the Tri community.  Known to all of us as an icon in the South Florida Triathlon world, Luis is one of the founding fathers of SFT.  Not only is Luis an amazing person, he is an accomplished Ironman Triathlete, with a BIO that includes multiple Ironman Finishes and the Big Dance in Kona.  Luis has served on the Board since SFT began and has a true passion for helping fellow athletes and non-athletes.  In case you still need to figure out who he is in this picture, just draw your attention to the far left!!!  PS. on the far right is Luis' favorite swim buddy and one of our longest members, "Buzzy"!! OK, in the middle is Carlos Moreno a/ka "Charlie Brown."

OK, so it is clear that in my eyes you are as good as who you hang out with.  Well for those that know me, they know that where there is Frank, there is Jalaine!!!  Members for over 9 years, we once ruled the land of Hammerheads as I was President, and like any good administration, the wife ran the show!  Sharing a passion for the sport we have competed in every distance imaginable and share the same "M-DOT" tattoo popularized by the founding fathers of this club.  We have seen this club grow from 25 members to well over 300 and truly enjoy training, racing and sharing memories with our fellow atheltes.  It's a family thing, so much that my father-in-law, Jay "Jay-Dog" Garcia joined the tri-world in 2006.  Combined this family has 13 Ironman Finishes, two 70.3 World Championships Finishers and were the first Father/Daughter/Son-in-law to finish Ironman Florida in 2008. No, I am not the sexy guy next to Dave Scott!!!

Steve Brookner is probably best known for his amazing athletic career as one of Miami's best atheltes.  A veteran of multiple Ironman Finishes, 70.3 World Champioships and Boston Marathon, Steve has an amazing athletic biography.  Better than his accomplishments is his desire to make South Florida the place to train and meet fellow community members.  Donating personal time as seen here in his picture - teaching his brutally well-known spinning classes, Steve has a passion for pushing his limits and those of his fellow athletes.  The man behind organizing the famous "Brickfest Breakfast" also takes great pride in giving back to the community in charitable time!!!

Our secretary is nothing less than amazing.  With a background as a collegiate swimmmer, Linda's fierce competitive fire is only matched by her willingness to help fellow athletes.  As a Physical Therapist she typically sees many Hams in the office and is a great resource for all three disciplines.  As a member of SFT for over 4 years, she has helped bring the club to the magnitude it is today.  Securing sponsorships, dedicating time and effort to meetings, socials and club events, she still finds time to be an Ironman Finisher and amazing age grouper!!  In this picture we see a softer side of Linda, but wait until she is running you over on the swim!!!!

Ray, Ray, Ray...  well seen here with no other than Dave Scott again. Ray has the heart of a Champion and the desire of one too.  No stranger to SFT, he brings a dedication to our group events that is beyond amazing.  The fearless leader of our Sunday Group Rides, he helps keep the Board's sanity at meetings, members together on training rides, and never breaks a sweat!!!  Except at his first Ironman attempt this November in Cozumel!!!  We tried finding a picture of him by himself, but no luck, as he is always surrounded by HAMS!!!
